SERVICES

I support energy, mining and infrastructure organisations that need clear, technically grounded support on strategic risk, environmental decision-making and complex project delivery.

My work sits where operations, regulation, capital decisions and long-term asset planning meet, helping clients move from complex technical issues to practical, defensible action.

Core strengths include programme and project delivery, strategic risk management, technical assurance, environmental decision-making, stakeholder engagement and asset lifecycle thinking.

Environment, climate and nature strategy

I help organisations design and strengthen the frameworks they use to manage environmental, climate and nature-related risks across assets, portfolios and projects.

This includes strategy development, governance, materiality, transition planning and the integration of risk into business planning, decision-making and leadership processes.

Typical support includes:

  • Environment, climate and nature strategy for energy, mining and infrastructure businesses

  • Materiality and risk identification across assets, operations and portfolios

  • Integration of climate and nature risk into governance, planning and decision-making

  • Support for transition planning and strategic prioritisation

Climate, carbon and disclosure

I provide technically rigorous support on greenhouse gas emissions, decarbonisation strategy and climate-related reporting.

My background in subsurface, operations and asset management means I can connect emissions and climate risk to the realities of how assets function, how projects are delivered and where the most material decisions sit.

Typical support includes:

  • Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions inventories and forecasting

  • Life-of-asset emissions assessment for new developments and decommissioning

  • Net zero and decarbonisation roadmaps

  • Alignment with TCFD, ISSB / IFRS S2, GRI, SASB, CDP and related disclosure requirements

Environment and nature risk for projects

I help clients understand how environmental and nature constraints affect project design, approvals, delivery, risk exposure and long-term value.

My role is typically to bring structure, challenge and integration, ensuring that specialist studies and environmental frameworks are decision-useful and aligned with wider project, operational and business objectives.

Typical support includes:

  • EIA / ESIA oversight and strategic input

  • Biodiversity and nature risk considerations in project planning

  • BNG, UKHab and ecosystem risk literacy for decision-makers

  • TNFD and IFC PS6-aligned thinking for projects and portfolios

  • Offshore and asset lifecycle environmental risk, including decommissioning contexts

Technical advisory and project leadership

I work with organisations that need an experienced senior practitioner to provide technical assurance, independent review or project leadership across complex workstreams.

This is particularly valuable where environmental, climate, operational and subsurface issues intersect, and where projects need disciplined coordination, credible challenge and clear decision support.

Typical support includes:

  • Independent technical review, assurance and challenge

  • Project and workstream leadership across multidisciplinary teams

  • Translation between technical specialists, management, investors and boards

  • Support on complex transition, CCS, geothermal, offshore and asset lifecycle workstreams

Specialist technical background

My earlier and ongoing technical work includes CCS storage risk, geothermal subsurface evaluation, offshore constraints and geoscience-led project support.

I bring that background into current work where a strong understanding of the subsurface, asset lifecycle, technical uncertainty and delivery constraints is essential to good environmental and strategic decision-making.

TESTIMONIAL

"It was a pleasure to work for Rosalie during my time at Delonex Energy. Rosalie’s hardworking ethic and calm and thoughtful manner means that she leads by example and is a great role model for the team.

She always finds time to provide mentorship and career advice, continually developing the skills of those around her. Additionally, Rosalie also has a broad knowledge of petroleum geoscience and an excellent eye for detail. This allows her to challenge different aspects of a project where necessary – driving the group to deliver high quality technical work whilst under pressure.

She also has a knack for pragmatically balancing the need of multiple stakeholders across a variety of complex technical projects to deliver work to suit the needs of the business.

I would highly recommend Rosalie as she would be a real asset to any organisation!"
